Our goal is to advance sustainable innovation for cotton and cellulosic textiles, addressing recycling inefficiencies and harmful chemicals with cutting-edge technologies tailored to industry needs:
Optimized Recycling
Advanced processes for cellulosic fiber recycling into dope-dyed textiles.
Sustainable Pre-Processing
Effective removal of elastane, dyes and impurities from blended textiles without toxic byproducts.
PFAS-Free coatings
Bio-based, water-repellent solutions using innovative surfactant technology.
Eco-Friendly Prints
Removable, PVC-free, bio-based printing formulations.
-
The green transition also requires safety and sustainability assessments on a scientific basis. We will contribute to advancing the toolbox with:
Toxicity assessments - novel methods and predictive tools.
Smart Decision Support - software based on the Safe and Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) framework.
Comprehensive Data Hub - to drive systemic sustainable innovation across the textile value chain.
