Vividye x Biosustex
Even though cosmetics is Vividyes current main task, we have not given up on our roots in textiles!
Since June 2024, Vividye is participating in a European project, Biosustex, with the mission to drive policy change and develop pioneering technologies and tools for a greener textile value chain.

As part of the EU-funded BioSusTex project, Vividye is tackling one of the biggest roadblocks in textile recycling: persistent, non-sustainable ink layers. Conventional PVC-based inks make garments incredibly difficult to recycle. We are solving this by developing a high-performance, bio-based printing ink combined with an eco-friendly removal solution, allowing printed textiles to safely enter the circular economy.
Our biggest technical hurdle is replacing synthetic components with green, bio-based alternatives without losing the printability, stability, and durability that the industry expects. To do this, we are leveraging our core expertise in surface chemistry to engineer sustainable, high-performing ingredients that match conventional quality.
For a technology-driven start-up like Vividye, BioSusTex is an ideal launchpad. It allows us to push the boundaries of bio-based materials, accelerate our growth in the green innovation space, and bring the textile industry one step closer to true circularity.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement no. 101135372
